North South University (NSU)

North South University (NSU), the first private university in Bangladesh was established by the NSU Foundation with the initiative of a group of philanthropists, industrialists, bureaucrats and academics.The President of People's Republic of Bangladesh is the Chancellor of NSU.The credits obtained at NSU are acceptable to most of the better known universities of USA, Canada, Australia and other countries.

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB)

The Independent University, Bangladesh was established in 1993. The out reach campus in Chittagong was opened in 1999. The University has 4 schools offering 12 undergraduate degrees and 3 postgraduate degrees. The University carries out research projects with national and international organizations and also in collaboration with foreign universities.

Daurl Ihsan University

Darul Ihsan University (DIU) was founded in 1989 by the Founder Vice Chancellor late Professor Syed Ali Ashraf in collaboration with some eminent personalities including His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Omar Nasseef, present Chairman, Darul Ihsan Trust (DIT) following a series of International Conferences on Islamic Education.

International University of Business Agriculture & Technology (IUBAT)

IUBAT International University of Business Agriculture and Technology is the first non government university established in Bangladesh. Since establishment, IUBAT has grown steadily. IUBAT now offers one program leading to a post graduate degree, ten programs leading to professional bachelor degrees and two programs leading to professional diplomas.

International Islamic University Chittagong

The International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) is one of the Government approved Private Universities in Bangladesh. The credit for the idea of establishing this University goes to INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY CHITTAGONG TRUST (IIUCT) which is the founder organization and sponsoring authority of the University.

Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology

The Ahsanullah University (AUST) was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995. It maintains close collaboration with the International Association of Universities (IAU), University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh and many other national and international educational institutions and professional bodies.

American International University - Bangladesh

American International University Bangladesh (AIUB) is a non-profit, non-sectarian private university pioneering in quality computer based education. The University Grants Commission evaluated and approved the academic program of AIUB on November 8, 1994 and the Government permission was obtained on November 6, 1995.
